2010 National BDPA Technology Conference
July 28-31, 2010Professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students are invited to join National BDPA in our new decade, as we continue to provide tomorrow's workforce with pathways from "the classroom to the boardroom" through education, mentoring, professional networking, and STEM programs that enhance academic excellence, technical growth, leadership skills, and professional development. Currently, we are seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable workshop presenters for this year's National BDPA Technology Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to provide workshops that will appeal to a diverse group of youth, college students, and professionals in three distinct forums. Our expectation is that each workshop forum will provide attendees with an empowering experience as they participate in workshops that support them academically and professionally. Also, we request that all workshop presentations have a technology theme, provide STEM overtones, and are constructed with our conference theme in mind... Access for All.
NBDPA's workshop abstracts and presentation materials were required last quarter to meet strict Proceedings publication deadlines. NBDPA accepted speakers, presenters, panelists, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) covering some of the following topics: artificial intelligence, biometrics, computational materials science, device mobility among heterogeneous networks, grid computing, human language technology, information visualization, interactive systems, knowledge management, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), modeling and simulation (M&S), multimedia technology, network science, RFID/MRO integration, quantum information theory, robotics/unmanned vehicles, semantic data integration, service oriented architecture (SOA) and complex systems, software testing, V&V of computer models, visual data analysis, and security for IPv6 transition from and coexistence with IPv4.
